Kevin Hill

Kevin Hill specializes in joint venture and partnership auditing. He has led and participated in engagements ranging from junior producers to major projects valued in the billions. His audit work covers capital projects, operations and maintenance, Final Statements of Adjustments (FSOA), vendor compliance, processing charges and fee revenue, equalizations, thirteenth-month adjustments, and production allocation.

Previously an audit coordinator for a midsize producer, Kevin has extensive experience coordinating engagements, resolving audit exceptions and partner disagreements, and finding recoveries that were overlooked.

He contributes to industry events as a speaker and panellist. At the Energy Accountants Society of Canada’s 2022 Education Day, he participated in a discussion of Alberta’s TIER regulation and the implications of carbon accounting for joint ventures. EASC was formerly the Petroleum Accountants Society of Canada.

Kevin earned his PhD at Durham University and has authored a number of scholarly publications.
